Numerous studies have been published over the years about the causes of yawning, each advancing another hypothesis. According to some studies, yawning would regulate brain temperature, which increases in intense moments of activity.
One study argues that it is a reflex gesture that directs a larger amount of oxygen to the brain, and long ago the yawn was correlated with fatigue or boredom.
However, scientists have not even managed to fully explain this enigma. What gives them even bigger headaches is that, apparently, yawning is contagious.
The effect of placebo
The placebo effect may be the key to understanding that the mind has the most important role in healing.
Sometimes the mind defeats matter, but we do not know exactly how and why. Those who participate in tests in the pharmaceutical industry sometimes react to fake medicines as if they even took the substance they think they were given.
Basically, if a man thinks he has taken a drug that should have a certain effect, the body will react according to the information received from the brain.
For example, in a study, subjects were given an inactive substance pill and were told they were taking an energizer. After taking the pill, the pulse and tension increased them, and the reaction rate improved visibly.
Why is this happening? Research on the placebo effect was focused on the relationship between the mind and the human body. One of the most popular theories is that the placebo effect is due to the expectations of the person in question, but no one has so far been able to explain how this phenomenon really happens.

Was there a T zero moment in the life of the Universe?
We have all heard of the Big Bang theory, which tries to explain how matter, energy, space and time – in short, the Universe.
According to this theory, about 13.7 billion years ago, the Universe still does not exist. What was there was a point, of a singular nature, without dimensions, but with infinite energy.
At the “zero” moment, something has caused this point to come out of its state, causing a huge bang, the Big Bang, which continues to this day.
But we must not forget that the Big Bang theory is exactly what its name implies: a theory.In fact, nobody knows what could have caused the Big Bang, and until this is clear, we can not know for sure what the origins of the universe are.
